Discussing being well-known, he said: “Even with some of the stuff that goes with it, I’ve just dealt with it, and I can't complain because you meet really nice people every day. Genuinely, everyone's really nice to you.”
“In return, I try and be nice back to them. I’ve never said no, ever, to a selfie, or handshake, or an autograph,” Simon continued. “And I always say to every person who I work with: ‘Don't ever complain about people asking for photographs or this or that, or moan about privacy, because if you want privacy, be an accountant. If you want to be well-known, that's what comes with it. The public are the people who pay your wages, so in return you have to be nice to them,’ simple as that.”
