Bukayo Saka is in line to play his first minutes under Tuchel, having missed the previous break through his hamstring injury. Myles Lewis-Skelly returns to the squad after his England debut last time out, and Declan Rice is an unsurprising inclusion as well.

But there’s no room for Ben White, despite both player and manager confirming he’s back available for selection.

“I’m definitely available,” White said recently. “I spoke to him (Thomas Tuchel) a few times and he’s such a nice, nice man, very honest.

“Obviously I haven’t been back for too long so it’s just about playing now and hopefully making my way back in.”

As the 27-year-old mentions, he hasn’t been back from injury for very long. Though he initially made his comeback in mid-February, he had multiple minor setbacks after that.

White has started Arsenal’s last two games, but those have been his first back-to-back starts in all competitions since October.
