HOUSTON — What does it take to keep Houston as a top sports destination? That’s the topic that will be discussed at the Houston Business Journal’s inaugural Business of Sports event.
It’ll take place on June 10 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at the George Theater at 5420 Westheimer. Tickets are available here.
The six panelists participating in the discussion represent all of Houston’s major sports franchises and sporting events.
The event will be moderated by Ryan Walsh, CEO of the Harris County Houston Sports Authority.
- Chris Boleman, president and CEO of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo
- Giles Kibbe, executive vice president and general counsel for the Houston Astros and Crane Capital Group
- Jessica O’Neill, president of business operations for the Houston Dynamo Football Club
- Gretchen Sheirr, president of business operations for the Houston Rockets
- Mike Tomon, the new president of the Houston Texans
