University of Michigan Health-West partners with OAM on new orthopedic surgery center

KENT COUNTY, MI —University of Michigan Health-West is partnering with Orthopedic Associates of Michigan to open an outpatient orthopedic surgery center adjacent to the hospital in 2027.

The University of Michigan Board of Regents this month approved a joint venture between UM Health-West and OAM to open the surgical center in a renovated and expanded office building on an 8.9-acre property on Metro Court SW in the Grand Rapids suburb of Wyoming.
