The search is on: OU announces search committee for next Athletics Director

OU announced Monday it has appointed a 12-member committee tasked with searching for the university’s next Vice President and Director of Athletics.

The search committee will be led by Chair of Football, Randall Stephenson, and a team of members that represent key areas across the university community.

The committee will work alongside a search firm, looking for the best fit to replace current athletics director emeritus Joe Castiglione.

Castiglione has served as OU’s athletics director since 1998 and recently announced his future retirement plans. Castiglione will remain as the athletics director until his replacement is found.
