The NFL Players Association (NFLPA) held their annual Rookie Premiere event, where the most popular draft picks gather together to celebrate their next steps in the NFL.
Typically a majority of the bigger quarterback names get invites regardless of draft selection. Other skill positions on both sides of the ball end up joining in the event as well.
Among those players is Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers, who was the seventh round pick for the Miami Dolphins.
Ewers got his first look at his official Dolphins jersey, and will be sporting the No. 14 for Miami, a number known for in the Dolphins as Ryan Fitzpatrick's from the 2019 and 2020 seasons.

He was seen alongside former Longhorns receiver Matthew Golden, who was drafted by the Green Bay Packers, as they posed for a picture holding their new jerseys.
Now is his time to begin proving everyone wrong, and why he should have been a much higher pick than a seventh round selection.
At Miami, he has a really great opportunity to grow and learn the professional game behind Tua Tagovailoa, who is one of the highest paid players in the NFL.
With Tagovailoa's recent injury history over the past couple of seasons, it would be no surprise to see Ewers at some point during the season, and should he get the opportunity, has all the weapons on the team to be successful.
With playmakers in Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, De'Von Achane, and Jonnu Smith, Ewers will be able to run that offense very well, and has the experience of their speed with his time at Texas.
As training camp continues prior to the pre-season beginning, we will get a closer eye on Ewers, and look forward to seeing him in action come pre-season time.
