A Play It Again Sports store is coming to Bloomington.
The used sporting goods store will open sometime this fall at 105 Krispy Kreme Drive, Suite 2, in Bloomington. That’s near Veterans Parkway at East Washington Street.
There are many Play It Again Sports locations in the Chicago area and around the country. But until now, the closest location has been in Forsyth, near Decatur, about 40 miles south of Bloomington.
Play It Again Sports locations typically buy, sell and trade used sports and fitness gear.
The owners of the Bloomington location are Clay and Kristy Sieraski. They already own the Once Upon a Child store on Krispy Kreme Drive, which buys and sells gently used kids’ clothes, shoes, toys and baby gear. They plan to move Once Upon a Child to a larger space at 1 Auto Row Drive (the former Pier 1 location).
“This move has been a long time coming, and we are beyond excited for the extra room to bring you even more of what you love—more clothes, more toys, more shoes, more gear… more everything,” they said on Facebook.
The Once Upon A Child and Play It Again Sports brands both operate under the Winmark company.
