Pixel 10 promo video leaks: Tensor G5 is Google’s ‘most efficient chip'

A promo video for the Pixel 10 has leaked and reveals Google’s main selling points for the base model, like Tensor G5.

We see the yellow “Limoncello” color throughout this short video uploaded to TikTok (via YTechB) yesterday. This looks to be the traditional ad that Google will air following the announcement next month.

“With Gemini” is the first point, and the app is shown generating a workout plan for the user. The old blue-purple logo is still in use, which might help date this clip.

Next up is the “New Telephoto camera with Super Res Zoom” to 20x according to the Camera UI in the next shot. The Pixel 9 today offers up to 8x (digital) zoom, while it’s 30x on the Pixel 9 Pro.

Then there’s the Tensor G5 on the Pixel 10, which is described as the “Most efficient chip in a Pixel.” One question ahead of the event is how much Google will talk about the technical aspects of its first TSMC chip. Efficiency is the most likely bet over raw performance.

That in turn makes possible “all-day battery life” with a lock of the Material 3 Expressive lockscreen and status bar.

Overall, these four points are pretty straightforward. Google not talking more about Gemini and other rumored AI features is interesting, but that could be meant for the Pro devices.
