Scottie Scheffler was in full control at Quail Hollow. But a mediocre start has allowed the field to stick with him, most notably Jon Rahm.

Scheffler, after his 6-under 65 on Saturday, held a three-shot lead entering the final round of the PGA Championship. He extended the lead, but now — after holding a 5-shot lead — Rahm has tied him atop the leaderboard.

A win on Sunday would be his first at the tournament, and his third career major championship victory. The top-ranked golfer has never won a major outside of Augusta National.
