They’re the best two words in sports: Game 7. That’s where the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder find themselves after a dominant Game 6 home win by the Pacers to tie things up.
The two are now set to play the first Game 7 in an NBA Finals series since 2016, when the LeBron James-led Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors 93-89 in Game 7 to win the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

Indy continues to surprise viewers (and Vegas), having notched the team's 10th postseason win as an underdog in Game 6. The Pacers were +500 underdogs to win the Finals ahead of Game 1 against the heavily favored Thunder (-700).
MVP Shai Gilgeous-Alexander continues to dominate the postseason, averaging 30.5 points per game in this Finals series, along with Jalen Williams and Chet Holmgren at the center of it all.
Ahead of Game 6, Pacers fans were sweating out the status of star point guard Tyrese Haliburton, who'd suffered a calf injury in Game 5. After several days of treatment, Haliburton was able to go, and he produced a strong outing on the way to a dominant 108-91 win.
Haliburton will play again Sunday in what should be a thrilling conclusion to a historic finals run.
