Emmanuel Arms Community, Inc. is inviting everyone to its Community Resource Fair on Tuesday, May 27, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Emmanuel Temple Apostolic Church at 900 6th St. in Vallejo. This annual fair will feature FREE lunch, and distribution of clothing, fruits, and vegetables along with resources for employment, child care, housing assistance, Veterans, health and social services, and much more. The Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District is pleased to recognize the achievements of three outstanding students who advanced to the third round of the California State Spelling Bee on Saturday, April 26, at The Great Wolf Lodge. Sixth graders Sadia Hennous from the Virtual Academy of Fairfield-Suisun and Kayla Wu from Green Valley Middle School, along with seventh grader Gwen Sabio from the Virtual Academy, showcased exceptional spelling skills and represented the district with pride and poise.
