Boys Athlete of the Month: Cooper Bode (Brookland baseball)
The May Boys Athlete of the Month is Cooper Bode of Brookland. He’s red hot at the plate for Bearcat baseball. Bode hit .520 last month with 26 hits. 14 of them were extra bases, he tacked on 17 RBI and 8 steals.
Girls Athlete of the Month: Mekenzie Racy (Nettleton softball)
The May Girls Athlete of the Month is Mekenzie Racy of Nettleton. She’s putting up numbers in her senior season with Lady Raider softball. Racy is hitting .261 with a .478 slugging percentage. She has 3 home runs and 14 RBI
