EAST BATON ROUGE PARISH, La. (WAFB) - Free sports physicals are being offered for student athletes in East Baton Rouge Parish.
The free physicals are for LHSAA student athletes and are required ahead of the start of the new school year.
The physicals will be available at Baton Rouge Primary Care Collaborative, which is located at 7050 Plank Road. They will be offered between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. on July 15, July 17, and July 22.

“We want every athlete to start the season strong with a clean bill of health,” said Christina Anderson, district athletic coordinator. “This is about keeping our student athletes healthy and ready to compete.”
The free physicals are being made possible through a partnership between the East Baton Rouge Parish Public School System, the Louisiana High School Athletic Association, and the Baton Rouge Primary Care Collaborative.
