Cynthia Nixon Might Have The Most Normal-Looking Kitchen Of Any Person Apparently Worth $20 Million, And Fans Are Loving The Realness

If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably spent far too much time watching Architectural Digest house tours on YouTube, where celebrities show off their extravagant properties. However, not all stars live like Lenny Kravitz in Parisian mansions with built-in nightclubs in their basements.

Cynthia Nixon — better known to some as Miranda Hobbes from Sex and the City — just shared a sweet coffee-making tutorial from her home in Montauk, proving that not every celeb kitchen is all glittering marble and chrome.

Nope, in the minute-long clip, Cynthia — who is estimated to be worth about $20 million — welcomes viewers to her surprisingly normal kitchen, filled to the brim with adorable kitchen ~stuff~.

With pots and pans hanging off the walls, it seems every flat surface in sight has been put to good use.

The brown cabinets are stacked high with vases, the top of the refrigerator seems to be where she keeps her various coffee-making tools (no fancy coffee machine to see here), and even the windowsill is home to a number of miscellaneous objects.

Over on the countertop behind her, a fairly standard-looking toaster is pushed up close to the wall, making space for the array of bowls and plates on the drying rack that are waiting to be put away. So real.

And if that wasn’t relatable enough, as Cynthia shows off her blue Hydro Flask, you can see a mismatched collection of random brooms and mops leaning against the wall in the background.

Having watched the clip a few times, I feel like the video could’ve been taken in one of my friends’ homes — and I mean that as a huge compliment! From the array of crockery and tools to the open jar of garlic oil and a half-used avocado, it looks like a kitchen where stuff happens — and isn’t that better than a characterless chrome countertop where you feel scared to touch anything?

Anyway, that’s just my opinion, but it’s safe to say that fans are pleasantly surprised by just how “normal” Cynthia’s kitchen looks from the video.

And you know who else loves this kitchen? Yep, you guessed it, thee Sarah Jessica Parker.

This is the Architectural Digest home tour the people want to see. In the meantime, you can watch the mini kitchen tour here.
