IU Health Momentum Indy is hosting high-level racing, a community ride and different activities for families July 11-13.
INDIANAPOLIS — Speedy bicyclists have descended on downtown Indianapolis.
Cyclists from around the country are in town for the IU Health Momentum Indy.
On Friday, July 11, the Mass Ave Crit was held, which is a .64 mile course past the shops, bars and restaurants that line the neighborhood.
The event brought in a lot of fans who say there's a lot of reasons to check it out.
"I think the location more than anything and then all the great athletes that are in it, so we love to come down to the street and see everything going on and then we have a bike race on top of that," said fan Adam Freeman.
The Indy Crit is Saturday, July 12. It starts at Meridian and New York streets near University Park.
The first race is at 9 a.m. July 12.
