WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn., June 17, 2025--(BUSINESS WIRE)--OnMed, the nation’s leading tech-enabled hybrid care company, will unveil its state-of-the-art CareStation at Bradley International Airport in Connecticut. This landmark event marks the first deployment of an OnMed CareStation within an airport in the United States, a significant step towards expanding healthcare access in high-traffic public settings. The official launch event will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 10:30 AM ET inside Bradley International Airport (Departures Level, Door #1, in front of the "Frontier" ticket counter).
This milestone, made possible through a partnership with Hartford HealthCare, is set to transform the travel experience for passengers and provide care for travelers, airport, and airline employees. Located inside the airport’s main terminal, the OnMed CareStation offers travelers instant access to licensed clinicians in a private, high-tech setting. The walk-in station is equipped with cutting-edge tools like thermal imaging, real-time body scans, and sensors to check vital signs for immediate evaluation, medical expertise and holistic care.
With thousands of passengers passing through Bradley International Airport each day, travelers now have access to convenient, on-the-go care—without leaving the terminal. Whether they’re catching their flight, arriving for a visit, or heading home, travelers can now get "a check-up after check-in".
Bradley International Airport is more than a travel hub, it’s now a doorway to immediate, high-quality care, " said Karthik Ganesh, CEO of OnMed. "Whether a traveler or an airport employee finishing a shift, everyone deserves timely access to healthcare. This OnMed CareStation is our commitment to meeting people where life happens."
