Bucks Send Three-Word Message After Giannis Antetokounmpo's Admission

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo is enjoying his offseason in South America. Antetokounmpo is spending his free time in Brazil, where he was interviewed regarding his future with the franchise. For most of the time, the two-time Most Valuable Player has remained silent when talking about his career.

The 2024-25 NBA season wasn't the best for the Bucks. However, they did the most when they had to make changes in their roster by trading away Khris Middleton. It was a decision made to help Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard contend for another title.

Unfortunately for the Bucks, it wasn't enough, and they were eliminated in the first round for the third straight year. The squad was also significantly impacted by Lillard's blood clot problem and his damaged Achilles tendon.

Earlier this week, Antetokounmpo was asked by Coast to Coast Brazil regarding his thoughts about the NBA Finals. The nine-time All-Star informed the media outlet about his plans after commending the Indiana Pacers and Oklahoma City Thunder.

"I’m rooting for good basketball. That’s it. The Finals are different, I hope to be back soon with the Bucks,” Antetokounmpo said about the NBA Finals.

Following that, the Bucks' Instagram account posted a photo of the Greek Freak. The 6-foot-11 star posed in front of the camera with his NBA jersey, and the team had a three-word message.

"Reppin’ in Rio," the team posted.

The Bucks will have their star player back next season to start his three-year, $175 million contract extension. His new deal will kick in at the start of the 2025-26 season.

Milwaukee's concern now is how it can build a championship-caliber team around Antetokounmpo.
