Another conference meet, another victory for Whitmore Lake’s girls track and field team.
The Trojans had six first-place finishes as they earned their third MIAC victory on Tuesday at Lutheran Northwest.
Kaylie Livingston led the way for Whitmore Lake as she won the 800 (2:24.02) and helped the 800 relay (1:58.27) and 3200 relay (10:40.30) teams finish first.
Sofia Robertson won the 400 in 1:07.46, took second in the 200 (28.38) and was a part of the winning relay teams.
Freshman Hailey Valentine won the discus (79’2) and sophomore Lindsay Culp earned the win in the high jump (4’6) for the Trojans.
Huron League Quad
Malea Wourman of Milan won the 400 with a time of 59.89 and the high jump (5’0), while also placing second in the 100 in 13.30 at the quad meet versus Carleton Airport, Flat Rock and Monroe Jefferson.
Wourman also helped the Big Reds win the 1600 relay (4:17.44) as she was joined by Madison Lancaster, Callie Bartholomay and Angelina Wilson.
Milan senior Marissa Beck also had a strong showing as she won the shot put (36’1.5) and the discus (114’3) and helped Milan’s 400 relay team (54.56) and the 800 relay team (1:51.14) finish first.

BOYS TRACK
Huron League Quad
Milan’s Caiden Lambers had a strong showing to lead Milan’s boys track team in a quad meet against Carleton Airport, Flat Rock and Monroe Jefferson.
Lambers won the 110 hurdles in 16.07 seconds, placed second in the 300 hurdles (41.99) and won the high jump with a leap of 6’0.
In addition, Milan’s Adam Johnson placed first in the 100 with a time of 11.62 and Abdoulie Janateh won the long jump with a jump of 20’1.
MIAC Meet
Whitmore Lake’s boys track team placed third at the MIAC meet on Tuesday.
The Trojans’ 3200 relay team of Landen Livingston, Jordan Bankhead, Eric Junker and Kasey Springer finished first overall with a time of 9:01.83.
Caleb Valentine earned the win in the pole vault (10’0), while Bankhead placed second in the 400 (54.78), Livingston finished second in the 1600 (4:53.63) and Junker took second in the 3200 (11:19.65).

GIRLS TENNIS
Skyline 6, Lincoln 2
The Eagles won their second straight match in as many days with Tuesday’s victory.
Skyline won three singles matches and clinched three of the doubles matches to cruise to the win.
Mariana Lienhart-Cahuayme (No. 1 singles), Evangelina Ewing-Sohtun (No. 3) and Eden Lee (No. 4) all won in straight sets.
Skyline’s doubles teams of Sarina Thomas and Leah Barnocki (No. 2), Eda Kirca and Lilian Cui (No. 3) and Mira Kustarz and Maja Kwaiser (No. 4) also secured wins in straight sets.
Lincoln’s Kendall Greca won the No. 2 singles match in straight sets and Lincoln’s No. 1 doubles team of Annabelle Volpe and Elise Gelsanliter took care of business with a straight sets win.

BOYS GOLF
Saline 150, Dexter 157, Huron 161
The Hornets saw five golfers place in the top 10 to earn the victory at Brookside Golf Course.
Haidren Stewart finished second with a 36, Keegan Cahill took third with a 37, Harper Hummel (38) placed sixth, Eddie Robbins (39) finished seventh and Jack McFarlane placed ninth with a 40.
Huron’s Adam Thanaporn took first overall after shooting a 2-under-34, while Thomas Thanaporn tied for seventh with a 39.
Dexter had three golfers earn top 10 finishes, headlined by Braden Richards and Carson Zaski, who tied for third with a 37. Evan Naylor placed ninth with a 40.
Chelsea 160, Adrian 164, Jackson 180
The Bulldogs had three golfers finished tied for second place to secure the tri-match victory.
Brian Tillman, Shawn Porter and Brady McKale all shot a 3-over-39 to place second overall behind Adrian’s Cayden Staib (36).
