100 Days Away: Mark Your Calendars for New York State Fair

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Whether it’s the food, music, games, or simply a chance to enjoy a day out, the Great New York State Fair is only 100 days away.

In recent weeks, Fair officials have begun unveiling the music lineup for Chevy Court and Suburban Park.

So far, artists like Sister Hazel, Steve Miller, Shaggy, and O.A.R. have been announced.

Last year, the Fair welcomed 38,215 visitors on opening day, with the highest attendance reaching 108,390 on the peak day.

The Great New York State Fair kicks off on Thursday, Aug. 21, from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. and runs through Monday, Sept. 1.
